Our board of directors

The TELCI board of directors is comprised of a dedicated group of volunteers who have a diverse background of experience. Our board of directors is responsible for some of the following tasks:

• Determine the organization's mission and purpose.
• Ensure effective organization planning, develop policy objectives, business strategies, and priorities.
• The board works in partnership with the chief executive and staff to raise funds from the community.
• They too determine, and strengthen the organization's programs and services. By constantly reviewing the organization's work, the board ensures the organization's capacity to carry out its programs.
• The board clearly articulates the organization's mission, accomplishments, and goals to the public, as well as garnering support from members of the community.

The selection of our board of directors

It is important to our organization to continue to have a board of directors that is diverse in its talents. We welcome people who can bring a variety of skills and experience. TELCI board members have a strong concern for our organization's development, progress, the well being of the people we support, a strong sense of social justice and personal integrity.
