Help build better lives

Making a donation to TELCI helps to build better lives of the people we support. People supported by TELCI are recipients of disability pensions or old age security, which typically do not cover all of the costs of living. People are often faced with the dilemma of paying for their transportation for the month or participating in a community sports program, buying essential items for daily living or going on a trip to visit their friends and family. Necessities always outweigh activities which improve our quality of life.

Your gift can be received in several ways including some of the following: a one time donation, a bequest of property, monthly donations, or leave a portion of your estate in your will. We welcome you to identify how you would like your donation to be used. We also welcome to the freedom to direct our donations to some of on-going, highlighted needs and wishes of the people we support.

To be certain that TELCI receives the gift, in the form of a bequest or life insurance policy we urge you to state your wishes in your will.

Some of the ways donations have been used in past include:

• helping people take trips to visit family and friends
• purchasing programming equipment for the people we support
• providing people the ability to attend community events and engage in activities outside of their homes
• to purchase a piece of equipment that would help a person be more independent
